Sassho. Post a macro picture and a landscape picture with clear blue sky in beauty mode or whatever that makes less noise. If there's alot less noise I will completly change my mind about Pixon 12.

sorry... but I think your confused.... grain is in film... noise is for digital media.... Or let me guess.........
Kids.....noise have everitng , even in DSLR cameras. Topic N8 vs.SATIO closed , N8 win. Now let's to see N8 / Pixon12 OK?
What are мain advantages/disadvantages N8 camera
Advantages
1.BEST biggest sensor 1/1.83"
2.Natural soft colors
3.28mm wide angle optics
4.Xenon flash
5.HD videorecord, BEST in 30 k/s
6.Low noise level
Disdvantages
1.Terrible worse optics(blur to right side or blurry spots everywhere)
2.Poor camera settings ( MACRO over 15cm, no trasking AF , no Text mode , no Smail detectoin and many more....)
3.Middle detail levels( strong noise reduction)
4.No Led flash for videorecord
5.Short battery life
Pixon12 camera
Advantages
1.BEST sharp razor 28mm wide angle optics
2.Two mechanical diafragms in camera - F3.6 F2.6
3.Close up MACRO - 8cm
4.Nice postprocessing colors,do not need editing
5.Great detail on images
6.Many camera settings
7.Xenon/Led flash
8.Phone design like camera - very comfortable
9.Long battery life
Disadvantages
1.Noble grain in sky
2.Middle videorecord quality

1)N8 doesn't have terrible optics. There are some fixible issues caused by the size of sensor.
2)The camera has face detection but doesn't have smile detection but I don't think anyone uses this kinds of features more than 1 or 2 times.
3)Middle levels of detail? You must be kidding!
4)Led flash for video is one of the priorities that will be fixed with future firmwares.
5)You again must be kidding! The battery is very efficient.
So, you are totally a waste of time.

@Sassho
You are not a very smart guy, i am sorry.
Worse optics? LOL.. you are truly a joke man.
Strong Noise Reduction???
N8 has almost no noise reduction in its pictures. Damian Dinning has said this himself.
Battery life is not so short either.. may not be the longest, but its not short by any means.
PIXON was the phone rated with below average battery life to idiot!!
Why do you need LED video light when you can take amazing HD quality video in a dark nightclub like this?
Small LED will do nothing here..
Pixon can only dream of this quality..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5qU-YDMxOA&translated=1
and i see you leave out key points like
Pixon 12..
1. Only 150MB on board memory, while N8 has 16GB, and expandable to 48GB
2. Samsung propriety OS (no app store)
3. Poor GPS navigation, NOT FREE, and no offline GPS capability
4. No FM transmitter
5. No HDMI
6. NO 3.5mm headphone jack
7. Non responsive touch screen
Just go away man.. you are clueless

My dear
jake20 - you'r very angry, it's not good
N8 camera have good optics? Tell me about this picture a?
click
What we are see? We are see wrong AF work. Amazing but focus is good to right (ussualy blurry) side and terrible blurry on ALL left side
Why? Because AF is wrong locked to right(ussualy blurry) side , as results right side is sharp and left side is blurry. It's BEST camera for you?
I don't think so
Now let's see battery. Pixon12 battery lasts over 500 shots or 3 days normal use.
Nokia N8 battery life is one day....it's great
Let's see phone processor. Pixon proc is 800mhz OK? And N8 proc is 624mhz....funny
Pixon12 have 1GB ROM for propriety OS , N8... ?
But this not important. Important camera quality and Pixon12 camera on very high level. Ask more from Nokia dude

I really cannot believe the amount of immature bickering ive just read. Ive been away from Esato since around Sunday, this thread was on page 32 or something. I cannot even be bothered to read it all as most of it is opinions and not fact.
Well here is the opinion of a N8 AND Satio owner. The N8 blows the Satio's camera completely out of the water. Im just uploading examples of this right now and will post soon. Ive taken some better pictures today now that ive spent some time with the N8 and have learnt how to use its camera better.
Im not saying im the perfect photographer, but the examples i have coming up show how much the N8 has advanced over the Satio with its camera. I used the Satio to the best of my ability, which has been pretty damn good IMO, im a pretty good shooter with the Satio. But, again, the N8 blows the Satio away.
Speak soon
