How to check if you have Sony or Samsung sensor.
Dial *#34971539# and then Phone/CAM FW Ver Check
DO NOT click "Phone to CAM FW Write (rear)"
GDXXX use Sony, and ZDXXX use Samsung. ( Just an assumption as of now, not 100% confirmed)
To truly know if which sensor you have, take a pic in low light and see if its noisy or not. If its a crappy pic with a lot of noise then its the Samsung sensor, if the pic is decent with not so much noise then its the Sony sensor.

Either way the SGS3 takes great pictures for an 8mp shooter.
It doesnt matter what camera module is in there, if you bought the phone for its camera then you've bought the wrong phone. If i wanted a high spec camera, i'd either buy a second hand N8, Satio or go all out and buy a Pureview 808.
I wish i had a 808 !

Me too I love the image quality of the 808. No UK carriers are going to take it on although Virgin Mobile have not ruled it out.

If it wasnt for the steep price tag of the phone sim free, i'd probably have traded a few old phones or gadgets in to get one. Sadly, £500 for a sim free Symbian phone these days simply isnt worth it. I understand the camera technology behind it, but id have preferred Nokia to have sold it for around £350 sim free.

It'll drop in price online soon. After N8 success Nokia should have made the 808 more mass market. Anyway back on topic

I noticed that when I listen to Spotify via my headset and I push the headset button my music player starts. Is there a way to change so the buttons on the headset controls the media I'm listening to?
On my Xperia Arc I controlled Spotify via my headset.
Spotify doesn't come up as a media program when I connect my headset an in my Arc. Can I do something about that? I don't want Spotify to automatically open when I connect the headset.
