I'm pretty sure you can transfer files using a WiFi connection, you will only need to connect it via a USB cable once. I do that with my phone.

Maybe it's my imagination that they seem looser probably aren't as I undid the flap where the sim and SD card goes in for first time today since I got it and it actually felt the same as the charging port flap
just flaps about a bit much

To add widgets to the lock screen, swipe the time widget to the right on the lock screen. Just thought I'd share.
