@jakester2000

i dont think you need to use that file (decustomization) with version 1.30 of TS. I think you just need the new firmware which you download from the server itself. beside I didnt see that file anywhere on the server.

anyone else know differently?

The dial-up is a known issue. There are threads here about it. You have to amend the initialisation string on your pda.... use search and you'll find the answer

@stevehulse

many thanks, found the thread. works again now!

@suavay

That file is no longer available for download on their server.

The file was used in conjunction with the three R2L files (K7S, K7L & K7C) to debrand any service providers' phones and allow future use of the official update service.

The new debranding method using the newer R2AA003 files does not allow use of the update service afterwards.

Cheers,

Col.

has anyone noticed since upgrading that the light on the power button constantly flashes, I thought it only did that when you had low battery, mine does it all the time, when full, when charging, all the time. Is there something wrong or is it normal

The phone is fully charged...it just keeps turning my phone on and off all the time even if i try and press the power button when the battery is in the phone...

Hello people, looking forward to debranding my Voda'd 700i.

Ordered the Cable and credits last Thursday but still havent received either. Also I though I should have been emailed the username/password pretty quickly? Still no sign ah well gues I'll have to wait!

Anyway, downloaded the client (1.30) but when I try to install I get a Windows error message saying 'cleint.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close etc. etc.'

Im currently running Windows XP SP2. Doe anyone have any advice?

I follow your guide but with the version 1.3!!! in the site it says that I turn off the phone and remove the sim card, but I read that after I started to flash/debrand my phone!!!!

Now I'm waiting to see what happens to my phone.

@stevehulse:

Thanks for the support - everything went perfectly fine, the phone works like a charm. And by the way, as I launched the client, it downloaded version 1.32 - no hints about what it does better than the 1.30, but since it all worked OK, I didn't ask.
