My update went well, worked first time, one of the differences I've also noticed it the text "Silent mode on" when you put it into silent mode using the # key, don't remember this previously; I've also noticed that GPRS no longer works, but I'm sure this will get sorted.

yeah i thought that was new, and when u connect (or try ) to the internet, you get a spinning globe - i think that is new.

Updated the first post with R1J002 details and firmware update links. I've just returned from taking some training courses in Kent, so i'm a bit behind! I'll no doubt do another update once I have fully caught up.

I seem to be stuck, I am trying to update my k750i but am having a problem. When i unplug the usb cable, leave the phone off for 20 secs, then hold down 'c' and plug the cable in again. once i do this, the phone just boots up normally, and the update software on the pc does not do anything, i know it says the update should start in 15 seconds, but nothing happens, it just seems to stay there waiting.

please help

As an update to the O2/GPRS issues.

As mentioned earlier I'm using an unbranded 02 UK headset which is week 20 (05wk20).

After upgrading the firmware I could still use GPRS, but following a master reset (hoping to get bluetooth working), I've now lost that, and have the same errors as others report here.

Does anyone know what a master reset could have changed that would have broken GPRS?

I have downloaded the driver, but when i do the 'hold 'c' and then connect usb cable, the computer doesn't start a new hardware wizard.

Go to device manager and uninstall the apropriate item (thinks its flash usb) but you should be able to find it,then remove the phone and retry hopefully the pop up will appear
