also.
I've switched the phone off.
Held C, Plugged in the Cable.
What happens is, it flashes twice then actually switches on and the program doesn't even detect anything.
It still asks me to press c and plug in the USB

Stupid question, but i don't care!
I understand all about changing the language and the firmware etc but what i don't know is how to change the CDA to the generic UK.
I know this is what it should be:
CDA102338/38
R6A
K750i
EUROPE_2
How do you add all that info to the one line representing the CDA drop down menu!? It only has options like:
CDA102337/1 - EMEA1
CDA102337/2 - EMEA2
CDA102337/3 - EMEA3
CDA102337/4 - EMEA4
CDA102337/5 - EMEA5
CDA102337/6 - EMEA6
CDA102337/7 - EMEA7
CDA102337/8 - EMEA8
CDA102337/9 - Europe1
CDA102337/10 - Europe2
CDA102337/11 - Europe3
CDA102337/12 - Europe4
CDA102337/13 - Europe5
CDA102337/14 - Europe6
CDA102337/15 - America1
CDA102337/16 - America2
CDA102337/102 - Thai
CDA102338/7 - Chinese
CDA102338/8 - HongKong
CDA102338/20 - Taiwan
Where in god's name do you get to change it to CDA102338/38 and it being UK!? As far as i can tell from using version 13.7, that CDA's for Hong Kong!!
Could somebody shed some light on this please? Thanks

At least with first K750 client (13.3 ?) it was still possible to change CDA to any digits you want. You should get this logger to change it to your digits.
But you should get happy with the loggers given CDA's too, because english is included in nearly every pack. See explanation below. I think Davinci guys thought about mistakes which could be made when users change cdas to maybe false strings and only allow to change to approved and SEUS compatible GENERIC strings now which is maybe the best and has better usability for flashing noobs.
AsianLatin2 [EN, TL, VI] English, Tagalog, Vietnamese
AsianLatin3 [EN, MS, ID] English, Chinese simplified, Malay
AsianLatin4 [EN, MS, ID] English, Thai
Chinese [EN, ZS] English, Chinese Simplified
Taiwan [EN, ZT] English, Chinese Traditional
EMEA1 [EN, ET, LV , LT, PL, RU , UK ] English, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian
EMEA2 [EN, HR, CS, SR, SL, SK] English, Czech, Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian, Slovak
EMEA3 [EN, EL, SQ] English, Greek, Albanian
EMEA4 [EN, RO, HU, BG, RU] English, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Russian
EMEA5 [EN, AR, HE, RU, FR, FA] English, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, French, Farsi
EMEA6 [EN, FR, AR, FA, RU] English, French, Arabic, Farsi, Russian

MAIN - K750i_R1L002_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT
FS - K750i_R1L002_FS_EU2.DVT
CDA102337/1 - EMEA1
I used the Davinci client and flashed my phone to the above. It was originally Vodafone (UK) branded.
I connected it up to SEUS to see whether, i future, I could update from there but got a message saying that my operator did not allow use of this service.
Do I need to reflash with different files?

Ok thanks for that, but will the phone (if i choose CDA102337/1 - EMEA1 ) then be CDA102338/38 R6A K750i EUROPE_2!?
See this is what everybpdy else is switching to, but i don't see CDA102338/38 as an English option.
If i do change the CDA to CDA102337/1 - EMEA1 i won't end up with the Generic UK CDA will i?

cda is independent from the eu, emea or us
choose where your location for the cda

see, i have no idea why would you or anyone else choose to flash with
eu2 but choose emea1 as cda.
is it not obvious in the client that cda is the pulldown window from which you choose cda that corresponds to fs file.
unless you want to use languages that are released on emea1 after you finally update with seus.
btw that question has been answered soo many times on this post in one form or another that i dont even care to remember, but lemme try again.
the seus is still a buggy service, noone realy knows how it works but best guesses are that on some phones its region specific meaning you cant flash asian phone with european main and have seus working propperly (in my case i did just that and it works)
also untill new firmware is released you cant realy know for sure cda will not work with cda you chose. also for some cda service is sometimes up and sometimes not. namely emea2! maybe others as well. the cda are generic so eventually they should all work. cda is used for telling seus which fs (and languages that are in it ) file to download for eventual update once the new firmware is released. at least thats what the most people think!
anyways one question? if someone is looking just for english language,
what difference does it make which language pack and cda it is, why does it have to be uk and shit? english is in every pack, it is embeded in the main firmware, independent of a region.
