I wish I had faith like yours but I have a sense of de ja vu.
I've never made a secret of the fact that I'm with SE because of the Ericsson part and I see the same thing happening all over again. I really, really hope and pray they make it through cause I hate the thought of going to try another manufacturer should they fail.
If they can improve their marketing side of things, their announcement to release problems and their R and D department then they may have a chance.
They just don't bother keeping up with marketing and advertising their products like the Samsungs of this world. How can people know your product if they don't see it? Ericsson was also guilty of this.
The past is gone and dead, they need to live in the future, give us the technologically advanced phones for Pete's sake! This company can easily kick every other manufacturer's behind but it is struggling. Yes, they are trying now but I can't help thinking it may be too little too late.
They should have a short announcement to release period, it is killing them that they are taking forever to release a product. Of course, the product(s) must be less buggy as possible.
Then there is their absurd price strategy! Sure have your flagships that cost an arm and a leg but let them be as up to date (or even better) as the competition. As for the midrange that offer nothing much they really need to position them properly and not too expensive. They act like they are the only ones making phones and people have only them to choose from.
And lastly, they should stop being so arrogant and listen to their and potential consumers.
I would love to own a Sony Ericsson phone in 2014 that would be made in that year.
Right now it is looking bleak.

I can't understand something - A100 lived from 2001 to 2007, A200 is living since 2007 and you already hate it! Are you crazy? A200 in really good. I think only Office pack and PDF reader are missing.

Cos a200 hasn't changed in a long while need some more updates to keep us occupied.
