The n8 belle firmware just be released for the n8 in early 2012, it's meant to be a big improvment over the current anna firmware.

Yesterday, while playing game on my pc, it suddenly shut down. Then wont start up. Everytime i tried, it would start to main splash and then login screen and again went off. After a while, somehow it started but was legging terribly. So i decided to restore it to previous restore point. And it went good but after retore, now it goes black screen after login.
I can move mouse in dark, i can open task manager but no startup. I saw in the task manager that not all processes are running. Any one has any idea? By the way, i am on windows 7 sp1.

Have you got a system back up disc to reinstall Windows?? That may do the trick you may have a virus though not sure. A back up disc can reinstall everything from scratch but make sure you back all your data up. You can get a reinstall disc for Windows from a store if you don't have one.

btw battery is amazing on the 4S it took 20mins on 1% to die
I had only charged via Pc to the firstime it now has had a longer charge on the mains though
im restoring it cos its reading the original number and not mine,
plus i need to add bookmarks to it anyway
played abit with siri the guy is such a posh toffee I hope I can change him

Speaking of voice things like Si-ri my brother got a TomTom for his car last week & the range of different voices is funny. There was one with an Irish accent called Sean
