possibly they are incaccurate.

@whiz: in 35k, my friend got a AMD Athalon 64 3200+, an ATI Radeon 9600, 120Gb maxtor, 512MB ram, with a gigabyte Motherboard. He used his Combo drive from his old PC, along with his monitor and Keyboard and mouse. Seems like a good deal to me.

Oh thats good. Will the system be sluggish without the graphics card? I don't intend to play intensive gamer as of now. But i'm thinking of putting as much RAM as possible.

if u get a motherboard with good enough onboard graphics, then u can play games but not with thaat amount of performance though.... Get a lot of RAM only if u multitask a lot... video encoding,audio... graphics work.... etc, just programming doesnt require a lot of RAM.... 512 MN wud be enough for u i think
