has anyone else tried the bbc iplayer on their c905?
works great over wifi on mine, was just watching an episode of dr who streamed onto my phone.
Yes I've tried!
Really annoyed as it all comes up as it should but when it tries to connect it gives up and says 'cannot connect to server'! Bloody thing. Been waiting all week to see this happen and now it doesn't work. Was gonna ask about it on here but daviep you've answered my question.
I've had troubles with streaming on my wifi connection before when it came to vtap and youtube, but that all works now so I don't see why there's problems with BBCi. I cannot get it to even load the BBCi page at all properly when using 3g so who knows what the hell is going on.

Wow!!!!!
Does anyone know whats up with this phone?
I've had it for 2 weeks and yesterday whilst browsing the internt in portrait mode the left button has almost completely locked up. It's stiff as a rock.
Is there a bad batch? Is SE going to recall this phone? Terrible.
Apart from the obvious bad build quality, its an excellent phone but S.E really need to get their crap together and improve Q.A.

I've never heard of that problem before. I don't think it's a common thing. I don't expect SE will recall all C905's based on one handset's keypad locking up.
Nevertheless, it's a new phone and can be fixed under warranty. Don't hesitate, take it to the service centre and get it fixed.

The dpad isnt locked up as in it doest regitr presses, it has become very stiff and requires a mighty press to register. Other people have had the same issue.

I've had keypad problems on previous handsets I had replaced.
The one I have now has perfect keypad and buttons. Very satisfying to use.
In fact the whole thing is so smooth to use I have chosen to ignore the scratched keypad and vaguely wobbly slider. I wish those two things weren't there and see no reason for them but overall I am happy with the phone at last.
Wish iPlayer worked though >:(
