Thanks for the info. Doesn't really bother me about waiting anymore, have waited 6 months so far, so another 2 or 3 weeks is ok.

Whoa got my P990 last night. Everything the same BST-33 battery, 64 mb MS card firmware R4 and will update it as soon as it has finish charging. Only thing is i notice all new ones got this slight tilted P990 label in front.
See pic below

Are you saying all the new ones you have seen have this poorly positioned label then? I can't believe they will all be misplaced like that.
Call be picky, but when spending a large amount of money on a device like this I want it to be 100% perfect from a build quality point of view. If that was mine it would be going back.

@All
When referring to firmware versions it is important to use the organiser version as the main version number. It gets very confusing when people start to talk about the phone version numbers when in fact the organiser is the important version number.
It also serves to avoid confusion when talking about firmware to list the full version numbers and your CDA.
Some info on why the Organiser version is important can be found
here
As more branded versions become available it will become increasingly important to always mention your CDA as firmware versions can differ between branded and generic versions.

The shop had 3 units, 1st one got scratch screen, so I returned it, got 2nd one which is much better. Both had the P990 label not properly fixed. Anyway I got it fixed myself as its just a a 2-way sticker and if you carefully use a blade you can remove it only to see a small screw under. I have just finish chargin now its play time
Initial feeling its not as friendly as my W800

Is it me or the two white marks are ACTUALLY marks on the left side of the P990i sticker? Or is it just a shine from the light in this position?
