Yep, heard about the result from a fellow Gooner last night while watching Miriam Makeba's last performance in Cape Town.
May the P900 go from strength to strength. I doubt I'l have my current P for two years even though it hasn't given me much hassles. Any funny anecdotes from these past two years?

You were privileged enough to attend Mama Afrika's last performance in CT... , da brixsta, I am so seriously green with envy!
I grew up listening to Miriam Makeba songs on my old lady's LP collection, amongst others of course. There has always been something special how her music crossed so many political and racial divides in our country's chequered past, and I have always had the utmost appreciation for what her music has done.
How old is she now? What an iconic figure in SA music.

As regards the P900, apart from the very occasional virtual keypad going on AWOL and/or internet shortcut not activating properly (which rebooting the phone sorted out immediately, on the handful of occasions that these happened), I have really had no probz or glitches at all.
The P990 may still be heir to the throne for me, but dang...don't that K800 look da biz... would love to have both if possible, but for me that's not gonna happen, at least not before next year.

I would also love a K800, right now I'm trying to convince my gf to get a as her next phone.

I found that to be very racist!!

@786KBR: It depends on the context. If it was said in jest then I wouldn't take it seriously as the same is said of women and a host of other groups.

If you find it offensive you can contact the Newspaper's ombudsman who ensure that the newspaper gets the appropriate sanction.

If it's coming out at the end of May/early June in Europe then South Africa should get the K800 around late August/September...if you're on MTN it will come way later.

Did anybody happen to hear that beaut from JZ, about how unlikely it is for a man to become infected with HIV from a woman?

The Cape Town stations i've been listening to whilst zipping around town with the family have been lambasting him, quite correctly too.

For a political figure of his stature to so convincingly insert his foot into his mouth...

Hey Krypsta, you're in Cape Town and I don't even get a holler. What's up bro with that?

Damn, today was a pathetic day... manages to announce two pathetic upgrades that would hardly set the world alight even if they were doused in kerosene.

And here I was thinking that the W700 was the much rumoured slider from SE.
