yes there is a problem with the latest k750 software. when u try and send stuff ( especially images) via bluetooth sumtimes it restarts. yesterday i was sending a photo to one of those picture printing machines and each time i tried sending it my phone restarted. i askd my sister with w800i to send it (with r1a008) and it send perfectly. so i thought it was my phone. i had to send it via infared at the end. wen i got home i updated my sisters software to the new one and i told my sister to check the next time she goes past boots to try if it was my fone. she did and her fone restarted each time. sooo definetly the software but mainly only restarts wen sending to those machines.

I just updated my w800 but I got the version I had before: R1AA008

This sucks.. Is there a new update for w800 or isn't it?!
The upgrade is not just for unbranded phones. My phone is Optus branded in Australia and it upgraded yesterday. I think you O2 people get a bad deal. The worst we have here is Australia is Vodaphone branded/nobbled phones. Oh, and 3G. Interestingly, the day before I upgraded I did get a no upgrade available message which I have never seen before. I'm wondering if this occured when they took the old F/W off their servers before uploading the new one. i.e. less than six hours later my W800 updated to R1BC002

The problem is the phone will still restart by it own if you transfer a few meg of file OUT from your phone memory, but not from your memory stick.
I reckon this could be a hardware fault. This used to happen with the previous F/W's on my W800 and I'm almost certain it happened with the original R1L firmware. I've always found that accessing the phone memory has been unreliable. You'll also notice there is still screen corruption when copying from the phone memory to PC via USB with R1BC002. Yes it's annoying but there is a workaround - Use your phone to move stuff to MS Duo 1st. At least now it seems the xfer problems there have been fixed - It is also far faster to copy off the MSduo.
My phone is unbranded in Australia and it's not updating. Tried to update anyway and just got R1AA008.

Interesting... My K750i just went dead on me for a second? The battery said it was about 52%. I plugged in the stereo headset to listen to some mp3's b4 i went to sleep, then I put it down on my bed, turned around and heard a sound, picked it up, and the screen was black, a second later the lights behinds the keys lit up with the screen still black...5 seconds later it says insert SIM.
I then switched it off, took out the battery, put it back in and switched it on, once again a black screen with the keys lit up then a few seconds later it came back to the main screen, 50% battery, full signal on O2...
What just happened?!
I'm using the R1AA008 FW with K750i on O2
