Did you guys read the feb issue of Digit? The tests done by them proves that AMD blew the shit out of Intel's expensive white elephants.

heard abt AMD's fx55 processor ? i read a test b/w that and intel processor which was souped to 5.2GHz to catch with AMD. still AMD won easily. the fun part is fx55's core speed is only 2.6GHz. hehe

@ gov . Me being a firefox fan, used firefox's bandwidth tester to find connection speed. the test is done by trying to download a file from a US server 4 times and then come to average bandwidth calculation.
Anyway, will do some more tests later and get back

Of course fx 55 is a good cpu , one of the best atm , but its non-sense to say that only a intel cpu at 5.2ghz , it has a lead in everything only because of its efficient architecure , intel has been concentrating on giga - 'hurtz' till a few months ago , now they have changed their mind , multi-cores are on the way . Btw , current cpus from intel is not that behind amd s , its a relatively smaller gap in most benchs.
