Bengalboy, very nice review!
I only have a small question, did they include an option to automatically request an sms delivery report this time?

i've read that this new uiq is as much touch screen capable as well as non-touch screen capable.. and that it's gonna geared to compete against series 60.. any comments on the non-touch screen userface...

This phone looks a lot sturdier than "Old Trusty" (my creaky squeaky P900).

I posted up some shots of the SMS menu and Messaging review on my site for you to see....but I did not see the "Delivery Request" in the SMS menus..its there for the MMS but not SMS?? It does support 2 languages for T9 entry... Also more shots of the P990 in direct sunlight and compared to the P900/800 for screen size, keys, etc..
As for the non-screen input... again, its like the P900 with the exception of the QWERTY and 5 way Jog-Dial. Great One-handed entry wether using the keypad or QWERTY Board... You can do most anything without using the screen..
Can't play an audio file while in a call...but you can share photos during a call if your using 3G UMTS carrier....
Do not trust any Ebay sellers claiming they have this phone... I use a Heavy Watermark for all my protos now after the Motorola RaZR debacle where my photos were all over eBay being used by fraudulent sellers.. Rat Bastards!!
