On R1FA030 i noticed the crackle when volume up or down(on speaker & HPM-70), but it will not happen on Normal EQ, only tried Bass & Mega Bass(worse). This don't bother me much as I'm primarily using A2DP stereo headset for music.
Also noticed the Bass & Mega Bass EQ has an effect on A2DP as well now, previously it doesn't make any difference no matter which EQ I select.
Lastly, the potrait/landscape switching background problem is also fix in this release.

R1FA030 available!
mine says "update not avaliable" instead of offering me the option to reflash as always, so I supose it's going live for other regions (mine is from asia)
Updated right now ^^

Is it? Well, might be that I'm using 3rd party A2DP that it didn't made any obvious difference until now.

Thanks for the info.

i found that the equaliser has an effect with A2DP and with pendulum and an 800w sub in a car boot it's very noticeable. However the volume controls didn't work.
has anyone else found that leaving the battery out for about 3 hours resets the date and time back to 01/01/2000. (i say 3 hours as its happens after i come out of my exams.)
oh and reset count is up to 4 times on the new firmware ( and yes I've done a master reset) in 1 hour.

so sad to hear that. i had only 1 reasonless restart until now. no other problems. very minor crackling. so far very satisfied.

yeah it's a bit irritating, however is better than the restarts with the DA038 firmware, where the phone would not boot with my 8gb card in. Also the theme stays after a reset with the new firmware and the wallpaper bug with the media manager is fixed.
the sound Quality boost is much liked IMO.

Just updated one of my W910 and menu browsing seems much faster and almost no delay. There is still a slight delay when playing music in media and also via bluetooth.
Shame I wont be able to test anymore as my W910 wont be with me after tomorrow as I've sold it.
Will let the girlfriend play with hers after I've updated that one.

hmm.. i still have a problem carried over since R1EA033, whatever letter that i press (from T onwards) in the tracks list in walkman will go to the chinese songs.. but just now when i lent a friend's new white W910i with R1EA033 it is perfectly fine...and with the new firmware there is a slight delay for it to load the playlist when u press resume.. other than that, perfectly no problems.. and btw, does not taking out the battery when u do an update affect anything? doesnt seem to affect me tho lol. so, anyone else has the same track search problem? (but most dont cuz they dont have chinese songs lol)
