Family has two S-E T68i's and Nokia 7650, awaiting more BS'es
I'm curious about the excitement over jawbone. Has anyone actually tried one (nextlink's commercial products or those other jawbone specialty phones on the market) and can comment on how it compares to traditional mic?

It looks like a new "digital" version of bluespoon will be shown at Comdex. Anyone know what this is about? Maybe it plays MP3s, hehe.

Does anyone have any photos of the special edition BS on a person, or perhaps the panther edition?
Just curious to see a life photo.
I've been following this thread for months, thanks for all the questions and answers.

Magic word cannot be used with bluetooth wireless headsets.
Wifi and bluetooth use same frequency
NO headset can be used properly in a convertible/topless car, hehe.
Its very hard to make a headset that noise-cancelling
There will always be wind when driving,..cant really do anything about that.
Car charger/travel charger and carrying cases are being worked on.
Hmm,..the jawbone again again..its not gonna be around for quite a while,...simply due to a lot of testing, very high priced, and for now the current Bluespoon will be the main focus.
We have a really good base-unit, that keeps getting better

Just a heads up. I have a Bluespoon Special Edition up for Bid on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1394987274
I got a little over exuberant when i bought it and have realized that I can’t really afford it. I never used it but I did open the box to take pictures for the aution and the damn thing is amazing! Its sooooo small. If the battery life and reception are as good as everyone says it is I will definitly buy another when Nextlink finally partners with a supplier that can makes these cheaper.

For those bluespooners out there, I hear that the VoiceDialing works better if you re-record the names from the headset as oppose to from the phone. My question is, how do you record the names from the Bluespoon? Can't quite figure it out.

First erase all the previous voice commands by going to Settings, Voice control, Erase all.
Then, make sure your bluespoon is connected to the phone and than the bluetooth operation mode is "ON" and not "AUTOMATIC" or "OFF".
Then, add a voice command. The bluespoon WILL NOT pick the first time, so when the phone ask you if you want to save the voice command, push "NO".
At that time the phone will reinitiate in order for you to try to record your voice command a second time. That is when you need to push either button on the bluespoon for a ONE second and you will be able to record your voice command from the bluespoon.
If it went fine, you will ear your voice command in the bluespoon after you said it and you will need to press "YES" to save your voice command.
