Yeah Cy, situation in Portugal is pretty bad.
Unfortunately, still enough careless ppl flip their cigarette butts out of the car window. Only one spark does the job when it's dry like this.
And then there's the nutcases that light it on purpose
somebody should hold them in the flames for a bit, so they really feel what they did.

Those criminals must be responsible for 80% of the fires that light up in Portugal.
And they're not pyromaniacs, they're hired. They use bombs to start the fires, not a traditional match. Some people saw small airplanes (cessna type) dropping something na da few minutes later a fire was going on already.
Shame, shame, shame.

Maybe aircraft owners that rent their planes to the Portuguese Government for fighting the fires...
Maybe just vengeance against someone (and then it grows out of proportion).
There much money involved when fighting fires, or after the fires are extiguished.
