Hi masseur,

I was downloading to the phone over WiFi, so I guess that's a mistake!

Now I am, back at my PC. I see iTunes is also downloading it.

I thought I saw a car mount somewhere...... but can't remember, because I had no intention of getting an iPhone at that time.

I will try to refresh my memory !

Hi everyone!

I have not updated my iPhone's firmware to 3.1 yet. i read back in this thread about problems.

My version is 3.0.1.

When I synch, I do get 'My_Space app not synched to iPhone' because a newer version of the iPhone OS is needed.

Question is - are there still issues for esato members here who did the update?

Apple are making new apps 3.1-only as a way to persuade users to upgrade their phones to the latest version.

Hi masseur,

and anyone else with TomTom on their iPhone!

I tried out TomTom in the car just now and volume level very low, even with iPhone volume turned up!

Does anyone have the same very low volume?

I guess the only way to get it louder is to connect it through the car stereo system? I have a aux connection that allows that.

I cannot see a volume control within the TomTom app, unless I am just not searching enough for it !

yes, there is a volume control within the app

while navigating, touch the area at the bottom of the screen which is showing you the direction etc, and here you get a volume slider

This hasnīt that much to do with the 3Gs but i bought a second hand 3G recently and have totally fallen for the little Iphone. Itīs so fantastic and everything just seems to work. I have mainly been negative before because of the insane pricetag on the Iphones here but i must say this is the funniest gadget i have ever own. Compared to my other phones itīs lightning fast and finally i understand what people has been talking about..

n97 and others isnīt close in the feel of the touchscreen. Web browsing is very very good and almost all of my favorite websites has apps for the iphone. Now i hardly start my computer anymore.

You can get a "cheap" secondhand 3G now here when everyone upgrades to 3Gs but i dont think itīs worth all the extra money for a little faster phone who can take movies.

I dont think i will ever be able to get rid of this little beauty, the cam in 3Gs seems better but still canīt replace a real one so im going to buy an Canon IXUS 100 IS/PowerShot SD780 IS for photo and keep my 3G. Think it will be somewhat the best of two worlds for me.
