lemmy31:

how did you manage to get the unlock code?

In other hand, I was so delighted with the trial unit sent from Nokia (kudos to them) that I ended up doing an early upgrade today, got myself a shiny red lumia 920

Congrats on the early upgrade.......it is a great handset and makes a great change from having to use IOS or Android and can only get better with regular updates !! I got the unlock code from fonefunshop.co.uk . Took about 2 weeks. Great service !!

Happy Xmas all

I can't afford one of those now but i still got WP8 on HTC 8S. Anyway good growth for Windows phone and Nokia too. It's slowly rising

This is awesome news guys, I am in love with this Lumia, red is my favorite colour.

Thanks a lot, £35 ain't a bad price. Is much better for me than waiting for the cool off period (90 days) to be able to get it from EE/Tmobile for £15.

Does it have any EE branding on it?? Like start up screen, apps?? Curious if EE do that.

No, no branding at all. At boot up just shows NOKIA then the blue windows phone screen. No EE or Tmobile. Not even the leaflets and manuals in the box.

I will pay the unlock code, makes it easier for me when travelling.

Just bought my wife the White 920 for her b-day and she loves it.... After playing with it, I must say I do too but can't give up the 808 quite yet.

Yes... most people love the 920, but once you get used to the 808, its really hard to go to anything else, for me it kind of feels like a downgrade in more ways than it does like an upgrade.
