Look at how high Holland are, how can they say that when they've been playing pretty dire for that last couple of years.

Those rankings are made covering a total of 8 years. One single tournament can jump you so much, especially if you go far in a major tournament. America made it to the 1/4 finals in 2002, where they really did beat Germany. But the ref couldn't see everything on the field, not really his fault, and so Germany won. Greece was in the 30s, and look where they are now. Good for them. And yes, they did deserve to win it.
