Ok, I've got C905 now for a month, so after reading LOTS of posts here I decided to share my experience with you.

First some technicalities:

- FW 042
- Never Branded or SIM Locked
- black
- bought in uk
- week 42

Now about software:

I've got 8GB M2 card filled mostly with music (AAC and MP3), and Multimedia menu reads it quicker then my previous phone - W880. Camera works perfectly, same Bluetooth, but GPS, now there is a problem. I cannot connect to ANY satellites, I've got TomTom in my car and PSP GPS and both find satellites in about 20 seconds and gets locked-on in less then minute, but my phone cannot see any of them after 3 minutes. I try tomorrow to wait outside about 15 minutes, but fortunately i got no problem with WiFi (Open in my work and secured in my home) or streaming multimedia using DLNA to my PlayStation3. Also using vtap or opera mini is flawless. I've received 50MB free transfer from O2-UK so I've tested 2.5G/3G transmissions and results where the same. Battery life is a bit disappointment but i was prepared for it. GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth listening to music etc. Fully charged battery lasts for about a day, but during that day i watch some videos on vtap via WiFi, send some music via Bluetooth and listen to it for couple of hours. Shame tho thats such a advanced phone isn't operated by some descent OS such as Symbian or Windows Mobile.

Now some hardware issues:

I proudly must report that i have NONE! Seriously! My keypad has 0 scratches, camera slider after month of usage works like new, only down button on D-Pad it a little bit different, it's harder to press then rest of them, but besides of this I'm really pleased with this phone

It's my first post, so hello to everyone

battery life is improved if u dcrease birghtness to 50% and also have a plain theme, rather than dusk theme, phone can last 3 days rather than just 1

OK, I've tested GPS and nothing. Even with A-GPS disabled Wayfinder7 connected to Internet via 2.5G/3G. During 5 minutes of watching Activity Monitor still no signal, but sometimes gray satellite icon appeared next to network signal strength bars but only for about a second. AmazeGPS, Wayfinder7 and Google Maps 2.3.2 claim that there is no GPS signal. I'm but disappointed. Dunno is this software or hardware related problem. If hardware then there is nothing I can do

Anyone knows if itīs possible to make folders with pictures in who i dont want to have displayed in the media gallery?

As it is now the gallery shows all pics in the phone. Would be great to have different folders like "vacation" "work" and so on.

Is there any trick to this, it would work in the file manager i know but in the media gallery it shows all pics i throw to the phone under "december"

Same here.

Today in car, I spent more than 5 minutes trying to get lock onto GPS via:

WayFinder 7
aMazeGPS

but I was unable to get a connection. I switched on my aGPS and still no connection. I am using R1BA042 firmware. And .. sigh Why so bad...

few minutes that still too long. I've got 2 GPS Reacivers and both gets lock-on in less then minute. I don't get it why it takes sooooo long for C905.

I'd say five minutes is not enough for a cold start. Give it more like twenty minutes and it should lock.
