great pix and nice report, Wanqa. The levels to which the human race can sink never fail to amaze, eh?

Anyway, hope everybody had a good Easter break. Back to the grindstone tomorr...

Thanks Kryptik; hope you had a good Easter break too.
We've got tomorrow off as well, but back to work on Wednesday.

About some of the museums here; I've been a few times to The London Dungeon with friends over the years and although this is a macabre, somewhat morbid collection of all things torture or execution-related from medieval to French Revolution, it's shock-horror undertone and 'live acts' and odd role-play interaction in some of the parts of the tour purposefully makes it more 'palatable' to a wider audience.
However, the I.W. Museum's far more serious focus on these horrors inflicted on our fellow humans really hits home.
On the one hand one can marvel at the huge technological advances made during times of war,out of necessity, but at the end of the day we know that they all share a common goal: to destroy the 'enemy', our fellow human beings, either because of clashing ideologies, power and/or greed.

Like da krypsta, I wish everyone had a safe long-weekend. I'm thinking about Ashanti (the RnB singer) who lost her cousin on our roads this past weekend because of a 17 year-old drunk who stole his mother's car.

A special mention once again goes out to da wanqsta for his good posts, although this is mainly a mobile discussion thread we get way off topic when news on new developments are thin.

To quote Kanye West: "Thank God I ain't too cool for my safebelt."

Apparently the two weren't wearing their safety belts. There's a lesson for my friends driving their big SUV's thinking they're safe.

a good victory for the proteas on a good bowling pitch! could this be the start of a new era for our bowlers? especially steyn endin with 7 wickets and well ntini once again has 10 wickets in the match!

Pollock seems to be losing pace very fast and seems to be enjoying his batting more than his bowling! can he change to a batting all-rounder?

@brad: One swallow doesn't make a summer but then again, we're in autumn and they're still playing cricket.

Got a pleasant suprise today when I saw an old member of this thread Online. Welcome back celltech..hopefully you can keep us updated on what's happening with the Y'ello guys...they've been getting a whole lot of bad press recently over the whole HSDPA fiasco.

Discovered another cool Java application today which delivers Guardian content to my phone...I was one of the people aggrieved when the newspaper decided to shut down their wap portal but with this new application http://www.on2go.com I get everything...it should be mentioned that the application is still in beta testing phase...allow for some problems.
