Berry yap u can use that handsfree, re call when gprs, i think thats not normal, never happen in my case.

In your Palm - Prefs/Connection, edit your GPRS Settings and set Volume to Off

i just got a t68m (mura lang kase, 2nd hand) and since i'm going to manila for the weekend, can anybody tell me where i can get it upgraded to the latest firmware? i read in another thread that you can do it at smartnet for 450 pesos (not bad, cus it's hk$ 180 here, and you have to go on a waiting list), but i'm not so sure where smartnet is. anybody with an address/contact number? is it open on saturday/sunday?
and one last thing... i moved all my contacts on the phone and erased them from my sim. bad move, because i just read that everything will be erased when they do the firmware upgrade. i don't have the time to download/install the ericsson software so i can't backup myself. will smartnet do it for me before they flash my phone?
hassle. i should've stayed with my 6210. simple and easy to use, specially when you only use it to make calls. with all the gprs/wap/sms/mms functionality, i'd be surprised if people still use their phones to actually talk to somebody else
but being a gadget geek, i'm sure i'll be a convert once i get the hang of this. i'm just not so sure how much gprs over here costs though...

Yes it should work (i hope it does for you) coz the modem settings on GPRS will set the volume of the phone once its used.
I have been suffering through it since December and since i dont often access GPRS throught my Palm, i only asked sa BNC Forum that same question (i have a T39) last tuesday.
