@coquito Most people that buy phones don't go searching through forums for potential problems. They buy the phone based on brand preferences, phone features, etc... This phone was supposed to be top camera phone but hasn't lived up to its name. Most phones these days can take decent pictures, thats not what k850 was supposed to be. Like I said before, I am hopeful that SE will release upgraded cam drivers so most people can have a better appreciation of their purchase.
@Prom1 If they are focusing on smart phone market share, it should not be at the expense of their other products. Also, C902 seems to be the replacement of their flagship cybershot. More features, slimmer, lens, cover...

SE will never please everyone,coz no matter how good the firmware or software is,still there would be people complaining of not getting full power out of the camera,phone.....
So far for me,no probs,no crashes,camera better,and definately better than my previous K800i...how to compare orange to apple btw.....

*hope the people with tons of problem solve it soon and we will have a peaceful k850i thread with less complains only valuable feedbacks...coz what i see is the complains from the same individuals.....your lady luck not working overtime maybe?

You want to get a "perfect phone camera",just dont go zooming in every aspect of the picture and critic,just print it out on 4R and see the results and ADMIRE,dont tell us that you'll print it out the pics in A1 format?or even make it into a banner just to admire it??
If compare with its predessors,K750i 2mp,its(K850i) way better,K800i/K810i 3.2mp,its(k850i) also better....
I have all the above mentioned before,modded the camdrivers also...see thread for k750i/w800i camera driver,also see k800i camdriver thread....you will see my name e_erzan all around...and i tell you frankly,if k850i already hacked into,i'll definately cook a damn good camdriver out of it...
But seriously,k850i's 5mp camera is a already good camera to play around with,without mods....if with mods...it would definately be great!
Coz i get the best pics of my little prince with K850i's 5mp camera without even editing it in photoshop....

I was wondering if anyone else's K850 has seemed to changed font size? Opera mini and the gmail application seem to be using the bolded version of the default font constantly.
I used to have a Rogers branded K850, so I used davinci to debrand and SEUS to get to R1EA031. I also changed to the HK customization if that helps.

Is there a setting I can change to give longer setting ??

Was late for work an Thursday, as my phone crashed overnight and so the alarm turned off.
Never had crashes on the previous firmware, bollocks to it all.

Mine still has the count noise and it goes for about 10 seconds (on 031)

Hi everyone i need some advice my unbranded K850i is on firmware 037 is it a good idea to update to 031 or stay on 037?. I don't have any noticable bugs with 037 any advice would be a great help
