well, Dogmann has had both E90 and TyTN II whereas I have only had the TyTN II, but I have also had the Diamond and both were running WM6.1
to be honest WM, is generally WM whatever device you have so the main attraction here is the panels I suppose, and that it is
mind you, apart from my w890 which I still have, its the only

that has interested me for a while and if I'm dissapointed I can't imagine when the next

will attract my attention (prob next years) as the C905 certainly doesn't do it

@Jah and Masseur
Well at this stage I'm sticking with an 8gb card until i decide if i will keep it or not but unfortunately can't find a Martin Fields screen protector or a PDAir book or flip case yet but I'm sure it won't be long.
Software wise I'm going to initially see how i find it out of the Box especially as Spb Mobile shells seems included. But if i like it and keep it will add Tom Tom 7 and a good Alarm Program as well as a Weather app although i think one is included and have also been looking at Handy Safe for it also.
I prefer not to have to install lots of apps and hopefully WM6.1 and the X1 should cover most of what i need out the box but once i get it i shall see.

@Dogmann
I find the PDair screen protectors nearly as good as MFOP. Also PDair did have a book style case but withdrew it (I know as I had an order) and were going to re-introduce it at the end of Oct. We should also see, hopefully, a good (expensive) case from
http://www.noreve.com
On the s/w front I will try Pocket Breeze & wheather and Agenda One. I must admit I don't like using my TyTn II as a phone but its a great connected PDA. Will see if SE have made the X1 more of a phone.

thats quite true actually, and I find I install less and less of my stuff with each WM product I get.
As a very minimum, I can't do without Garmin or TomTom (oh! I just remembered I have Garmin XT on micro SD that I used on TyTN II but couldn't use on my Diamond as it doesn't have a card slot, and I do prefer Garmin). Also resco explorer, Tube 2 and Supersnap. Spb Plus was always a priority but I'll see what the panel offers before installing that
so... just for a change, lets see who can install the least to do everything they need

Just ordered thro mobiles.co.uk. Used topcashback so £40 back and went for o2 18/12 £45pm with first 8 months 1/2 price (worth £180). Also got free Jabra 2010 bluetooth headset with promo code. Sweet!
Anyone know what colour X1's mobiles.co.uk give? Found one price comparison site that had them on and all phones were listed as black. This is what I am hoping for.
Also anyone know if you can swap the bolt on from unlimited text to unlimited web? I tried to call and check but couldn't get through but would imagine so. O2 give you a free bolt-on with £35 and above tariff. Maybe I shoulda checked this sooner.

@DexterMorgan
I have a feeling that mobile.co.uk may have their own tariffs for O2 and like CPW you may need to pay £7.50 for the internet bolt-on. I had a pre-order with them but they seemed to give telephone orders priority today over back-orders so as they had not even processed my order at 5.45 today so I cancelled. I'm sure your order will be okay

@Jah
Looking at the Mobiles.co.uk site, when you click on view O2 call charges it links to O2's buisness tariff pdf for some reason on the o2 site. I'm not sure if this is a mistake and it is meant to be the personal tariff page.
If it comes down to it I will ring o2 to swap and if they refuse will threaten to send phone back.
At £7.50pm for interent with all the cashback etc it would make it the same cost as the vodafone xperia but you get 1200 ins instead of 900 so it's still better value.

I got mine (swedish version) with a 4gb card.. but now i belive I need a bigger one! I have just confirmed that the program WinMobile Torrent works. And then coreplayer plays avi, divX, mpeg, mp4 and a lot more.. This is a dream! Do not wake me up! Hehe..
By the way.. one strange thing with skype.. I hear the one I'm calling in the external speaker.. not the ear-one. So it's kind of speakerphone... but with no button to change to private. Anyone who can confirm this or is it just my phone?

Wow, Vodafone have a vast array of offers for X1 compared to 02. Now I'm interested because I need the shortest contract possible, and they offer a range of 12-month ones too. Does anyone know if you can unlock phones after a contract with vodafone? Also, does anyone know what software Vodafone would put onto the X1?

The reference to the Black X1 at
www.clove.co.uk mentions a 'case' in the package. Has anyone seen this case?
