This was the moment last night when that Amstel tasted so sweet, the moment when Arsenal survived a Spanish inquisition. No offence to Villareal but they never deserved to go through to the final of the Champions League...they huffed and puffed but the fortress that was Arsenal's back-four stood firm with a resolve that would've made WSC proud.

@786KBR: I'm not going to hazard a guess at what English team you're supporting, hopefully it ain't Tottenham or worse still Manure.

Seriously though, Arsenal were tested...Villareal ran at them as if inspired by ghosts of past but their strikers always came up against a back-four that stood as firm as the Great Wall of China. Villareal needed a bit of magic, a player that could turn Arsenal inside out, they didn't have that player on the night.

Juan Roman Riquelme will be a big star in the World Cup in a couple of month's...last night he just couldn't get it going because they marked him to such an extent that the only option for him and his fellow attackers was to go the arial route which almost got them a goal in the first half.

My wish now is that we get AC Milan in the final...I'd hate the prospect of us facing a buck-toothed Brazillian and his team-mates.

Ya im a Man U supporter but not in the Champions league!!
I hate the English when they play other European Teams even the WCup, just me

What bout that streaker that handed Henry a Barca shirt??
I dont know what arsenal will be without Henry, not much i think!!

Im backing Barca, Milan also although now I want arsenal out and doubt AC will win the final (past experience)

No english team to win the champions league ever again!!!

@786KBR: I guessed right...you're secretly harbour feelings for Manure...I mean why won't you support them in the European competition? I'll be the first to admit that Arsenal haven't played the flowing football they're renowned for but under the circumstances, where one small mistake can cost you everything, I can understand their defensive tactics last night.

You might also have noticed that there was only one English player in team last night for Arsenal, a shame to some.

I thought there'd be a very happy Gooner in this thread today.
Those Amstels must have gone down very well, brixster.

What do you guys think of the 3 new N-series handsets launched?

Have you noticed the massive dimensions of the N93?

@da wanqsta: Indeed they went down, well. Got up early this morning because whatever happened it could only be beautiful day.

I'm contemplating getting a N70 on contract from Vodacom...having seen the N73 I'm not put off apart from the fact that it comes with a 3.2mp cam...the design is basically the same unless Nokia invented something new in the few months that the N70 has been out.

My buddy in Singapore made a very similar comment, Wanqa, regarding the dimensions of those phones. I have to agree, that's pretty hefty... I jokingly mentioned one of my first phones to him, the 2110i. With extended life battery Man oh man, what a hefty brick that was!! I'm positive one could comfortably brain a fleeing villain with it and still make a call afterwards
