oddie k750,
Wasn't talking about Emelie in this review. Not much at least. Just small hints in general.

ops-i remembered you saying "more clues in the w890 review" right after I asked something about emelie.
What I drew out could still be considered as hints of what may come in DIFERENT a200 phones thoughr-right?

Correct

Oh, and well, not just different phones. Current ones as well. There will generally be a much bigger focus on media.

Post edited and hopefully acceptable. I hope

does this like nokia or apple and will automaticaly add new features to all a200 phones through firmware updates. That would get esatos into even a biger frenzy over updates.

someone should have taken a telephoto pic of PK at the game, or asked the producers of the match to catch him during halftime!
well, im torn, i want to know but i dont want to wait for release ... if i know now, and have to wait till october, thats JUST as bad if not worse, than finding out 2 wks before it comes out. i hate apple the company but they know how to announce and release. SAME DAY!
meh regardless according to PK SE has become serious about its elite status phones, from the (personally hated) X1 to the K850 successor and P1i successor, now if only we could have the PKX1i ... then, id be happy. Linux.WM.UIQ mobile MASTERPIECE.

Why do people call it Emelie when it is called Emilie?
You should have learnt by now that the codenames are names of females
Anyone heard about Kumiko?

PK: Are the pics from your test-handsets better than the pics from N82??
There is no way a proto would be as good as the retail version of currently the best cam phone out there.
Unless it's CCD powered N82 is surely overthrown quality wise
I think after he K850 fiasco its best not to make any assumptions with any SE phones/rumors until we actually see them. CCD doesnt automatically mean it will kick every other phones ass. Whilst SE might be stepping up the photo technology so ar the other makes.
For instance Moto will soon be announcing camera phones with new Kodak Micron technology. Let it be noted that this technology is supposed to be so good that it doesnt even require a flash for dark pics. I think it will provide a good match for Sony's Exmor techcnology and thats of course assuming Shiho actually implements it.
We dont even know yet what Nokia are doing for the nedxt step but you can be sure it will be impressive as they havent capture the market majoirty share for no reason.

It's strange how we've heard reports of basically all the major brands' new technologies. (motorola+kodak, smasung's new chip, ericsson's new chip...) but afaik NONE about Nokia. Can you feel the tension in the air? Something big is coming. More and more consumers are realizing pixels aren't everything and it would help the market if companies started aiming marketing at OPTICAL quality. A new "race" so to speak for the mobile market-that would be awesome.
(I'm not saying it's going to happen-megapixels are still going to play an important part-but sooner or later thay'll reach their limit (who NEEDS 20mp cams?) and manufactures will have to come with something new-hope they're starting to realize that.

Thats becasue Nokia are probably planning the next step in video recording. They set the benchmark first with the N93 and its only now other compaies are catching up with them. Something big is definatley coming but we just have to be patient.
