sorry if this has already been discussed.....

can anyone recommend a simple video converter for the c905? preferably one where you point at the source file and click 'go' without having to choose size, quality, audio properties etc.

Hmm there have been many cases like yours... I think that the up and down buttons on the C905's D-pad is it's weak point. So the best way to fix the problem now is to get the phone back where you bought it. if it is under warranty, you may also get it fixed for free.

I did about 3,500 km and used the GPS with Google Maps (wayfinder sucks) the whole way, worked fantastic!!! It certainly isn't the best if you're on short trips around the city but it works great on long roadtrips, I would never travel without GPS again.

ive dropped my c905 down the toilet and it's dead!

taken it to a repair shop, but i'm not holding out much hope!

tip for other people, i tried taking it back to the shop i bought it from for the guarantee, but they knew straight away it was water damage, as all phones now a days, have around 4 white paper spots on them, normally one on the battery, one on the inside casing, and 2 actually inside the phone, as soon as water touches them they turn from white to bright red!!

if it is dead, any tips on what i can do to minimise my loss financially? i love the c905, but this was my third handset, after having the stiff buttons, and also the earpiece breaking, i really dont wanna spend another £350 just to have a load more problems!

I'm just gutted i finally got one that seemed to work alright then dropped it and killed it

grrr, nearly 3 weeks with no C905 is driving me crazy, I sent an email and SE said that they have a national parts shortage of C905 earpieces! So I'm not the only one with this problem

Many, many people have this problem. I remember pointing out a while ago the C905 build quality was really poor, and a few guys said it was just the complainers who come on and make it look bad. I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't had a problem of some kind with it. Such a shame really.

Does anyone know how to modify the shortcuts since my mobile carrier locked them?
