On most markets only one of the phones will be sold, so in UK you probably will only find K800.

O2 do have 3g..

@ bavlondon2 - yeah its a good picture, but it still doesnt look as good as one id expect taken by a K750i. All the pictures so far from the P990i look poorer in colour realism, appear more blurred and less sharp.

I understand SE wouldnt give the phone the best optics, because its not its primary function.

yea i agree with etaab there... but can we take out the idea that SE is planning to upgrade the camera module to the one like in S700.

maybe planning to steal the show perhaps...

I think this phone is goig to get some stiff competition frmo Nokia. Check the specs for the n93 and n73. 3.2 mp cam with auto focus and dvd quality uncompresed capture. Adobe premier mobile elements built in.

n73 yes. n93 no (its too big and expencice compared to K800). SO far however, SE have had an edge over Nokia in picture quality and I think same will hold for n73 vs. K800. Never the less, n73 will be a good competitor anyway.

To big being the understatement...the dimensions are monsterous!!

Dimensions

* Volume: 133 cc
* Weight: 180 g
* Length: 118. 2 mm
* Width: 55.5 mm
* Thickness: 28.2 mm

Kinda makes a mockery of calling it a 'mobile' phone.

After having the first nec 3g phones and the mtot a1000 n93 size doesnt mater to me considering it shoots dvd quality video and has adobe elements editor.

But the k800 isnt even a rival for the n93. the n73 is and i think it could also beat the k800. Its symbian and has greatv video.

And as for picture quality. Nokia had branded autofocus (carl ziess) a long time ago. SE has just got it now with the cybershot brand

Carl Ziess is a lens manufacturer and has nothing to do with autofocus. A camera is not better than its weakest link. N90 proved that since it does not take better bitcures than e.g. K750, which does not have Carl Ziess.

Carl Ziess is just marketing to make you pay more money for something not providing anything extra. Don't be fooled by that and make wiser choices.
