@Ares
Thanks for your info about alarm volume.
Can you confirm that the video autofocus trick (from camera mode to video) does not work anymore on R5?

Hi makbil,
thanks for your prompt reply, I kinda understand more now. Phone info as per below:
Phone: CXC162037 R9EA001
Bluetooth: CXC162058 R5A01
Org:CXC162092 R4A13
CDA: CDA162007/8 R4A04
just wonder how do they go by the order? (e.g. /8...etc.)
also, how and where do I check for the latest update?
thanks again!

Confirmed - using the shutter button in still mode to autofocus, then switching to video mode, loses the autofocus. This happens both when holding down and rolling the jog dial to switch, or when releasing the shutter button and then rolling the jog dial.

I got the recommendation from SE Sweden to not reinstall a backup after reflashing. Some bugs could be hidden in the backup and not in the FW.
While I got your attention.
I put back the flip after the FW upgrade so I don't know if there has been any differences in the following questions...
> How do I activate flight mode with FC?
> Can I activate the alarm with FC?
> How do I adjust the volume on the music player with player minimized without opening up?
>Is there any shortcuts on the keys in FO for zoom i.e. when using the camera?
>When typing SMS with FC, how do I do a carriage return to change row?
>When receiving e-mail via Send & Receive there is a summary list. Why is it almost never correct?
>When using the browser and looking at the bookmarks sometimes the lower arrow in the scroll list on the right is missing and you can't se the last 3 bookmarks.
>There are still poor quality on some pictures in the phonebook.
That was alot, but anyway...
Cheers,

Even SE probably doesn't know what order, but /1 is always the first followed closely by /2. Just keep checking SEUS, when there is an update it'll tell you.

A Problem I have had with my P990i since new last November has been the battery indication. It seems to last as long as everyone elses but it takes ages to go from 100%-50% then about 4hrs to drain from 50%-Poweroff.
This is really annoying because it turns off in the night and my alarm doesn't go off (not that I can hear it now anyway!).
I've tried the battery out of my woman's K800i and it has the same problem. SE suggested flashing or sending them for repair. I'd rather put up with it than send my phone to SE, they are getting nothing of mine ever again, including my custom.

Be grateful for any advice here. I received my P990 today. It's on orange UK.
I changed the CDA to world generic 1. In system info you can see the 2 CDA, world generic 1 and the one for orange. I formatted the internal hard disk.
Then I went to update the firmware using seus. Seus said that I already had the latest firmware and there were no updates available. The firmware on the phone is R3.
Can anyone help
