The SE guys dont maintain their website properly, coz before P1 was released, it was showing that P1 will be relaeased in September, but it is already released.
So, we cant tell exactly when the 960i is going to be released!!!

I think it will be out well before then and first of all, I won't be an early adopter when it does appear and second of all, after a month or so, when it is in general circulation the price will fall somewhat.
