Peeps, just enjoy your own phone and allow others to enjoy theirs, and please go back to topic now.

People reading this thread, because they might want a Galaxy SIII, are not interested in opinions about Apple, nor in professional reviews (which they've already been reading ), but in hands-on experiences of real-life owners. Thoughts of people having a device in daily use for a few months are valuable to possible new owners, more than those of a reviewer, which might have been using it for only a week or so .

I think it was Bonovox who first mentioned that the SGS3 screen is dim. Well according to reports of tests done that maybe true.

I doubt it will kick Samsung plastic arse. And the GS3 is solidly made of polycarbonate. Their phones made of plastic are well built and don't smash easy unlike glass covered iPhones. Plastic does not mean poor as my Sony is made out of plastic and is rock solid. Why do people think plastic means crap?? Plastic is more durable than most glass. As for blowing people's fuses my fuse is fine I just can't stand Apple. Enough said

This is what i have BEEEEEN saying, id rather have a plastic phone that is lite and durable, than something that is heavy and made of glass that shatters easily.
My Xperia X10 has had some incredible falls, latest being last night, dropped it on tiles face 1st in the family room, and it slid and hit the metal rim around the sliding door, still in great condition, if it was an iPhone it would be in pieces. My GS2 has also been a soldier.

Plastic is highly underrated when done right, by the way polycarbonate is a form of plastic.

I tell you what does seem very strong is Sony's mineral glass screens compared to Gorilla glass. Anyway, nice sexy new red model but so far only in US

Thats another highly underrated thing, Sony's Mineral Glass displays.
If its one thing that irritates me its people bitching and moaning about no Gorilla Glass in every Sony phone annoucement, yet they havent a clue of how durable it is how long Sony has been using it, i remember the K850 had it, and to this day my 5yrld K850's display is in great condition.

The red GS3 looks interesting, not sure if i like it or not, from some angles it looks stunning and from others its meh.

Red does not look good. At least not through a computer screen.

My iPhone fell of the window and hit plug sockets the other
Week from a great hight not even a mark or smash

The bumpers do really benefit a iPhone for added protection

Shiny black glossy plastic phones I find are a annoyance
Finger prints > keep cleaning > possibility marks

I read to today the next iPhone will be bigger thinner and
Have a metal back but will still look like any other iPhone 4
Or 4S I guess it's a myth till the real McCoy turns up lol

Not personally liking the thought of metal back if it's true :/
