I said imx363 will be used in next year’s flagship as uwa or 2x zoom.
Then I cited xiaomi cc9pro as a example.
It’s not about somc, it’s about all the flagship phones.

Someone is editing wiki page of exmor and adding a 12MP 2.1 micron 1/1.5" with dual pixel and dram.
The person just put s11/s11e too. 12 MP 1/1.78".

Ghost, you mentioned the fact Z series was well rated by DxO, something X Perf and XZ were too.
What I find weird is: they claim they take more than 1000 photos with each device (just rear cameras).
Photos from Sony, Motorola, HMD and LG posted by Dxomark are much worse than samples from same phones posted by other sites. Even Phone Arena made tons of compliments to X5.
When you look at samples they post from Samsung, Huawei, Google, Xiaomi , OnePlus and Apple ; those photos look much better than photos posted by tech sites.
Photos from Galaxy posted by GSMA at their events look like photos taken at iso3200.
On the next day, dxo posts review with photos where noise is 0,0005% compared to photos from day before.
This started to happen when they changed protocol because iphone 7+.
Look at samples of X1, XZ3 or XZP on dxo.
They look worse than Z1.
There is no way any brand (Sony, LG , Motorola etc) would offer photos worse than their devices from 2013.

DXO used to be reputable, Sony like all other companies hand out devices and goodies for review. DXO would get contributions but since they're getting more exposure it's more like an auction now. Xperia 5 camera is excellent, not Huawei P30 quality but definitely in the flagship bracket. Apart from the HDR mode, the still images are better than the S10+. The Xperia 5 got great reviews everywhere but the availability is so low that nobody cares too much about it.
