A camera without macro cannot focus if you get to close to the object.
With macro you can focus and get sharp pictures of very close objects.

macro mode sounds good! i use my phone camera to take pics of business cards and written notes (easier than typing!) so this feature is much appreciated. any chance that it defaults back to normal mode when you turn off the cam?

I dont mind if the K750 has the same level of vibration as the K700i, as long as it does not make a large noise, rather like a battery operated lady pleasurer.
Old Nokia phones of mine make really loud buzzing noises when they vibrate, rather embarrasing in a public place.
Macro mode is for shooting closeups, such as a potted plant or a watch. This is an example of macro mode from the pictures taken with the K750 we've already seen, i think it works perfect on the K750:

If they added a 256mb then what would be the wait for the w800? Plus point of the w800?
In total the k750 comes with 102 or 103mb of memory. Still thats lots of memory comparing it to the k700 which only had 41mb. I guess its sonyericssons second way of making money, as if you want to use it as a mp3 phone, then they'll make you have to buy another memory card.

Firstly Motorola do not offer 256mb in all their mobile sollutions, secondly the 102mb total memory in K750 is far more than most of the buyers need. Most of the customers do NOT buy a phone because they need an mp3 player, but because they want a phone, and the highlight of K750 is not as a musicphone but as a cameraphone. As cameraphone there are plenty of space for pictures in 100mb. Each picture is only 3-500kb. Most digital cameras you buy only come with 16-32 mb standard. For those customers that need more space the option of buying more memory is there.

You sure can. £30 for a 512mb Sandisk Duo Pro isnt bad at all on ebay !
A 64mb MSDuo isnt bad for a 2mp camera, my old 3mp dedicated camera only came with 16mb.
So you're getting 4 times more memory with a cameraphone that takes smaller images. Makes perfect sense.
