originally APAC_1 FW R1A generic filipino unlocked unbranded, flashed with davinci eu-emea R1J eu2 first time cda emea2, then R1L eu-emea emea3 fs and emea2 cst and emea2 cda.
for about a month seus posted service for that client not available then bout 2 weeks ago started working none of the times did it try or did revert back to apac1.
so issue more complicated than blaming it on particullar client or any client for that matter.
more likely to blame se for double standard for letting some regions or some phones slide while enforcing other imei's to stick to their particular region.
could be that its happening cause k750 never released for american market

Hi
Just got my K750i today and want to get rid of the Orange rubbish

.
From reading the thread a few weeks back it seemed that folks were going for the CDA102338/38 option (GenericIEUK) however on reading the more recent posts I saw that on about p.36 there was a list of CDAs that SEUS accepts and this one isn't on it. I also see that it's not one of the drop-down options in DaVinci.
I then considered CDA102337/11 (EU3) but I see that's not in the SEUS list either, although it is in the DaVinci dropdown.
My questions are:
1) can I just type over the DaVinci drop-down options with a different CDA and it still work? Do I need to add the " - Europe3" bit, or just the CDA number?
2) which one should I go for as a UK user that would still give me access to SEUS?
3) I would still like to have the 'no shutter sound when in silent mode' capability - this seems to work fine with my current option (R1L with EU3), but I remember there previously being discussion that this was only available for certain languages (e.g. EU3 but not EU1) - is that still the case or do they all now have the same behaviour?
4) where's the cheapest place to buy credits?

(and I'm looking for somewhere that is reliable too btw

) - am I right that as DaVinci currently only debrands and doesn't unlock K750s that it just costs 1 credit?
Thanks in advance,
Alan

I have LAM_2 (AMERICA_2) (Spanish, English and Portuguese)!!
And of course, it is available at DaVinci's FTP!!!

The EU1 f/w contains Portuguese and Spanish. The DaVinci server doesn't yet have the EU1 firmware but you can customize your language pack to anything you like.
My K750i came with the EU2 f/w (I bought it in the UK) and I just updated it to R1L002 EU2 f/w, adding the Portuguese language pack using DaVinci
Michael.

@grca73 - thanks. Looks like it's another £15-20 to get a cruzer cable to I probably won't bother with that, but good to know!
Any ideas re. my other qns?
Thanks,
Alan

@alex
M8 does this combo allows you to use SEUS without problems?
Sony Ericsson K750i
R1J002 LAM_2, CDA: CDA102337/105 R1A
I would like to change my FW and have correcto CDA so I will be able to user SEUS still. Im from Mexico City and bought my K750 in the UK and have this config.
R1L002
prgCXC125952_EU_1_CL
R1L002
ITP
CXC 125 932 R 1B
CST
CDA102338/48 R9A
cxc125953 R1L002
EUROPE_3
Content version
PA19
Also my provider told me they can't configure my phone to use their network and services such as WAP, MMS. SMS works fine and calls but seems Content version is not helping.
Any idea what combo should i use so i can fully use my service's provider and still be able to use SEUS for future firmwares?
Hope someone can answer this.
