@badassmam - I must agree (and I live here). Its a refreshing change but we will need to see how well the next 4 years go. Trump is not a politician so I'm hoping his structural, organizational and delegation skills really shake things up in Washington. He doesn't have (nor do I feel he needs) a detailed set of plans. You plan the direction you want to go (and just like a corporation would) you select the right team to handle that/those tasks. My hopes are that government has finally taken a turn where ALL people in our nation will truly be set up to succeed.... OH, and if that Kanye part ever happens, I'll be reaching out to you to rent a room (where ever that might be).
@tranced - I went and voted like 3pm in the afternoon (polls closed at 7pm). From that point on, I didn't watch much TV but when I got up then next morning and saw the map, I WAS BLOWN AWAY buy how red that map was. Truly amazing. I think Hillary's problem was she was the 'worse' of two evils. As they say, where there's smoke there's fire and there was A LOT of smoke coming from her camp.
as a side note, I'm a tad disappointed in my fellow Americans... I didn't want Obama as our president but once elected, I felt it my DUTY to support him 100%... No matter who had won this year the same would have held true but it doesn't seem everyone else is taking that stance. Pretty embarrassing that this is how we are currently "showing" ourselves on the world stage. smh

@Mlife
You don't want to come here, we just voted for Brexit that may not happen now. Politicians that wanted it secretly didn't and vice versa, its a total mess. For Trump to win doesn't make America racist, it means that they didn't like Clinton and they want a change. Brexit here was very different. People voted because they felt like we were being swamped with Syrian refugees, Europeans taking British jobs and stopping Britain from losing its British-ness. We don't really take many refugees compared to Germany for example. Europeans come and work and not everyone pays taxes but because they're under the radar they don't get the benefits and you often see a 3 bedroom house being rented by 15-20 people, I wouldn't say that is comfortable for them. The truth is that Brexit will not do much for those things but has hit our economy. We currently have a a terrible choice of political parties that are fighting within themselves so I imagine that we will have a hard line Trump of our own soon. His name is Nigel Farage and he's over at Trump tower now.
