Nothing on my end yet, the camera performance improvements are probably the start up time and stability.

I don't recomend OTA update.
It always "dirty".
Do a backup of your apps and settings/data using PC Companion and make a clean install of system. (repairing installation on PCC)
This upgrade worth it !

Battery are even better now!
I'm very pleased with this firmware.
Camera starting faster, apps loading faster, the desktop black screen after unlock is gone, phone takes longer to get hot even playing heavy games, the annoying auto constrast are softer now and UI are smoother too. Noticeably smooth on every place.

so backing up on 4.3 means i can't restore on 4.4 via the backup app.. does PCC let you backup/restore from 4.3 to 4.4? I never tried it. but there's no point in backing up if i can't restore it.

@moogoo I have no idea but I feel you should be able, unless you mean going back to 4.3 from 4.4 which I feel would require you to flash the firmware manually.

As for the update, swiping from the bottom now gives 2 options, google now and whats new from sony which was not present before.

well i guess i'll just give it a try. i just know that when i try to restore using the backup app on the phone, it says the formats are incompatible.

still no new firmware on my PCC.. just the old 757 one. sigh. i wonder how much longer i'll have to wait..

.. so i just looked on sony's USA website and it says the latest firmware available is 14.4.A.0.108. which means i should get it. just have to wait..
