But the

interface doesn't support that feature, so to list it as a handset fault is wrong. My phone doesn't cook toast. Is it faulty?

men, U R so wrong about that. Read carefully what is one our member wrote.
"java app" File Lock.
It's only the firmware feature, or not feature, that's all.....
And I also, was already wrote that some kind of old dummy Samsung has that.
Look, U may glorify your Sony, I make my opinion.
Like you or not, but that's only me.... And I know I'm wright about this.

Did you really have to post that on the blog? Trust me, I'll be doing you a favour by deleting it.

Sorry, you are wrong. The interface does not have it as a standard feature, so if it isn't there, how can it be a fault? I never said anything about downloading extra apps.
As for the rest of the post, I cannot understand a word sorry.

you still don't get it panonsky....
marty is saying that a fault means that a feature doesn't work properly (so that the feature exist but don't work).... he is not defending the C905...
your case is called firmware flaw which means that the feature is completely missing!!!
and i have a (near) solution for your private data!!!
browse your M2 in a PC create a folder called private... then move all of your private pics (and other things) in that folder. use windows command prompt to make the folder a system and hidden one... then copy it back to your phone.... the media app then won't load the stuff inside that folder as a trade off you won't be able to access them on the file manager either...
but i once had a java app which could access the hidden and sys folders on the phone....
procedure: (WIN XP)
1- copy the folder you want to hide to drive C:
2- click start and then select RUN
3- type cmd in the run menu
4- type CD\ (it is a single backslash -esato is F*** it up) and then enter
5- type C: and then enter
6- type ((( attrib +s +h folder ))) and then press enter... you should type your folder name instead of my term 'folder'
7- as you may notice.. the folder disappears
8- in the my computer select 'tools' from the above toolbar
9- then select the 'Folder option' and then select the view tab
10- check the 'show hidden files and folders'
11- uncheck the 'Hide protected operating system files' and click ok...
12- transfer your folder in the phone memory card
and you're done.

Thanks for suggestion but I was not try this yet.... But if I hide it, there is no way to see that on phone ?
( cause, if it's a case, then I simply cut it out to PC, and don't think about it anymore )
