Ok i installed a ton of games on to my memory card not into the phone and now I want to uninstall some of them but don't know how.
I know i can use the uninstall menu in the control panel folder but that only lets me uninstall apps in the phone.
I tried viewing hidden folders on my memory card to see if they were installed in a special folder so I could delete them manually but could not find them.
Any help would be appreciated.
thx.
Put your memory card in your card-reader on your PC (if you have one) and delete what you want.

I did exactly that. Found the midlet folder and deleted what I wanted However the shortcuts or associations to the java games are still on the phone and I cant get rid of them. When I click on one of the shortcuts of a game I removed it naturally does not load as it has been deleted.
So how do I get rid of the icons on the phone fo rthe games I deleted?

Hm.. I think you should have used the uninstall-app in the tool-meny. Or maby you tried that... I have to re-read your first post.
Don't know if that will work now when you manualy deleted them.

Check with your router to see whether the phone gets an ip. Otherwise, check to ensure its also got the correct DNS settings.

Hi. Yes I tried to uninstall the java games with the uninstall feature but the java games stored in the Memory card were not listed to uninstall. Only the games in Phone storage. This is why I had to delete them manually from the card.
Any help greatly appreciated.

You know you have to chose the drive witch you want to uninstall from in the uninstall-app. You have to click to activate the memorystick-page at the top.

- Today screen error is fixed in the latest Generic World firmware. Keep Calander open and I think it should be okay then
- wifi, this is worrying. It appears that Voda P990 owners are having a lot of problems with connecting to wifi.

I haven't had any problems with WIFI on mine. What problems have people been having specifically with the Vodafone ones?
