A quick SA thread bump here..
A simple 2-step guide to braaing in the UK: (pics courtesy of my Nokia 3230)
1. Ensure that when you do find braai coals that do work well and retain their heat for a decent length of time, buy these in bulk and stock up that shed! (all barbecue items are sold in Spring and Summer only, so stocking up on these seasonal supplies if one contemplates braaing in the colder climes later in the year.):
2. Have a steady, decent-sized gazebo with a good height in the back garden, to ensure that braaing is not too interrupted if the tempremental British weather makes a turn for the worse: (like today...)
(for added safety, ensure flames have simmered completely and coals are ready for braaing prior to dragging braai under gazebo. This should prevent the gazebo transforming into an inferno...)

For other traditional additions, there's the traditional 'roosterbrood';
... and the local Tesco stocks Mrs Balls Chutney on the shelf; and the Mrs's potato salad is nca-deluxe.
Sigh, I'm a happy soutie-wanqa.
Right, now where's the Budweiser...(or in Afrikaans, 'Badwater', as Mrs Amawanqa would say.)

Hammer-Time!!!!
Congrats to West Ham for a well-earned win over Spurs a few minutes ago, even with that missed penalty by Teddy Sheringham.
It didn't matter in the end, and as a result I am currently imagining this thread's creator (and self-confessed Gooner) savouring every moment, with Amstels in abundant supply...
Oh, and Henry was sublime (again) today during Arsenal's victory.
And well done to The Proteas for also climbing the world test rankings after their victory over NZ today.

LOL@ da wanqsta: Somehow I just knew the Spuds would mess this one up. On the 606 board Spuds fans are blaming David Dein for somehow influencing the ref.
The Arsenal result is a good one going into the Champions League final against Barça.

@brad: I'm no fan of Moto but currently they've got the cheapest 3G phones in SA...the con though is that you're phone is most likely to be branded and exclude basic features like IR...on the other hand the V600i ain't exactly a world beater...it's got an okay cam, has

with IR and a beautiful design. It's only downside seems to be the oft mentioned lack of expandable memory.
If you wait until your mom is due for upgrade you might get the K610 or even K800 which should be available...by that time the N70 should be an ancient relic.

@ Mario,
You still checking in here on the odd occasion? While checking Zedge for newly uploaded stuff, I stumbled across this free downloadable wallpaper (uploaded today), for a S60 phone:

I've been toying with the idea of getting the N70 as well, until i read the gsmarena review
http://www.gsmarena.com/review.php3?idReview=53&idPage=1
food for thought indeed, depending on what you're looking for in the phone.

Jeez people...why you guys trying to put me off, granted I've not yet signed the final papers but yes I've taken everything into consideration and speedy menu's is not one of my main concerns. I just want a solid smartphone with 3G, an okay megapixel cam and some other nifty features. Right now the only alternative to the N70 is the 6680 (and we've all heard about the bad reviews of that one). Can't wait for the P990...that's too far off on the horizon.
