I'd like to note that on call recording, it now asks to "Save" the recording even if you selected Record already. Prior to this, it simply records away.

Tested the pictures on R1L002; as warner, I can't see the 3 MB one, but can zoom on the 'middle' one, although it's so painfully slow that I think you shouldn't worry much about the feature being included or not since it's pretty useless...

@max: really, doesn't it allow unasked BT transfers? Damn it! One of the main reasons for leaving R1L002... can any other confirm this?

After selecting "Record" from the More menu, the phone starts recording the call right away. I have the "Save" action on the left softkey then. Pressing "Save" would stop the recording and save the file under Sounds.

Yes ! I told about this bug before ! Restarting after deleting java app/game! I think that when there is a lot of app/games, the bug is effective. I have 115 games and 75 app. I tried turning phone off, removed the battery for 5min. The bug disapeared. But after 6 deleted, it came back again ! This message was posted from a K750

Anyone saw any improvement on pic quality since R1BC? it is written

"Center Weighted Average metering used instead of standard Average metering to improve photos in lower level lighting conditions."

Is it true? How if the camera is still 4.5...

thanks

Thanks for your replies. I updated the first post yesterday stating that the Zoom issue started with R1N035, and as user don't seem to have the problem with R1L i'll keep the entry as it is now.
Personally I think the firmware was specifically rewritten to stop >2MP pictures being zoomed into for stability reasons.

Incidentally, I am getting reports in that the M4A tag reading bug is not actually present in R1BC. Any others want to back this up? Looks like I may have to write another test for you guys to go through! It will be so much easier when O2 realease R1BC for my K750!!

I know, this is a big disappointment. Unless I'm doing something wrong - I went to bluetooth permissions on the phone, set my pc in the list of bluetooth devices to "ask once" under the "allow connection" menu (out of two options - "ask once" and "ask always"), yet it still prompts every single time!

@mwarner,
re: the zoom issue, a little extra info, I find that I don't even have the zoom option for large images (R1BC). I can rotate them to horizontal, but there is simply no option to zoom in as there is with smaller images.

So it looks like you are right - it's been removed for images larger than 1600x1200. I can view and rotate the large images perfectly, just not zoom them.

the m4a tag reading is only applicable on the w800i. if you load or create a new playlist after updating to r1bc, the m4a tags of those files cannot be read. however, if you've got an old playlist before upgrading and you still use that, the m4a tags are present. but regardless whether you're using old or new playlist, the music title indicator on the top of the screen now displays the actual filename rather than artist - title that was present in r1aa.

Maybe I'm not clear, the things is, prior to R1BC, it simply saves it without you having to press "Save". The problem is, when the party you're calling dropped the call, you will not have an opportunity to save!! I find that ridiculous.
