The lens plate is scratch-resistant, however, I suppose when you look at it, if you had to make sure the lens glass was smear-free before you took a picture then it doesn't have the point and click speed of say a K810i or a K750i.
No big deal, it makes the cam-side nice and tidy looking.

ok i know this is going to get lost in the flurry of glass over lens complaints, but i'll try my luck anyway.

i think the glass is there for a very good reason. i also think that SE engineers have test this function many many times.
its better to have a protection glass, just beacause you never ever need to think about dirt, dust (or what so ever) flies inside the lens. and if you are a "pig" and eat greasy food (nöf nöf) and dont wash your hands afterwards.....hey, what can i say, use a napkin...
god what i like SE new SensMe™ & Screen splendor.....nice job.

the resolution it's big at this video ...it looks good in fullscreen!
Apparanelty this is only 15fps aswell
I opened it with media info and it turned out that the framerate was variable and the min. was 10fps and max. 27 fps so it seems that its only an issue in the FW and probably will be repaired in final version but still the video seems nice even very nice if we take into consideration the fact that its made by

The glass is for lens cover protection. I don't see problems with that.

Brilliant, thanks Xumdeo.
EDIT: Auto focus is disabled in the prototypes!!!
Wait... Xumdeo made mistake, in this video there is a profile twilight landscape or sth, in which u cant change focus. Same thing on k800i...
Anyway, if auto focus would be disable in the prototypes, how did they made macro shots with flower?
