Bono and Etaab
What happens is that when you scroll up and down the bar written 'Connect and Share' as well as the one written 'Device manager' both have this purple/pink smear effect, it looks intentional but apparently it isn't, not a big deal though, it doesn't show up in movies, games etc... I just see it in Settings on mine.

First music video shot by Samsung Galaxy S4 released

Interesting that the woman in this video says Android is no longer Google it's Samsung

Ah yes, In the Loop with Betty Liu I often watch that, the other two are Cory Johnson from Bloomberg West (a show all about Tech and Social Media) and Sheila Dharmarajan, from Bloomberg Pulse if I'm not mistaken.

Samsung's rise to dominance really has been intriguing, I remember some Esato members some years ago, around 2007, saying we must watch Samsung as they will at some point topple Nokia, SE and Motorola, at that time it seemed impossible, but Mario (SA Esato member) was confident in this, this was even before a Samsung Galaxy S was even released, Android was still something mostly insiders knew about...now here we are not only do Samsung own the smartphone marketshare they dominate the phone industry and are the reason that Google Android has such a large share in the mobile OS race. No wonder they say Android is Samsung, Samsung are the only OEM who have successfully made Android their own by blending its UI and features with their own UI, features and unbeatable hardware and created a consistent line of great smartphones.

Popped into the Sony Rumours thread today and found this:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=204753&start=7875

Seems Samsung has nothing to worry about even when the Qualcomm S800 phones arrive, chances are the Galaxy Note3 will be clocked at 1.8GHz, as every Galaxy Note is clocked at 200mhz higher than the Galaxy S of that year.

Looks like we'll have to wait until later this year or early next year to see something that truly threatens Samsung in Android anyway I'm done with most of these Android OEMs, none of them seem serious, except LG and HTC, think most of the excitement after GS4 and Note3 will be from Nokia, Apple and BB who have just recently launched the Q10.

Speaking of BlackBerry, Samsung are creeping into their territory now:

Samsung Galaxy S4 becomes first Android phone to get DoD security approval, beats iPhone to that

Had a play with the S4 at my local phones4u the other day. Very nice display and going through the menus and homescreens etc it appeared to be buttery smooth. Still I am more than happy with my htc One.

Congrats dibdin! Htc One is a stunner and I've read nothing but good reviews about it, enjoy!

Bono
Ah, damn, sorry to hear that. Sounded like it needed a hard reset to me.

What happened? You should just invest on a high-end phone instead of buying 5 phones a year.
