Would be interesting if there was actually a defect and it turned out to be lens related. I don't know whether to believe him, but defects are fairly common in the manufacturing world. While small ones are normally rectified after the fact with BOM updates / changes, something big could force a hard stop on production until the fix has been integrated.
Interested to see what it really turns out to be.

Once again, Z2 disappoints. It's beyond me how even LG G Pro 2 can outperform the Z2 with a much bigger sensor
