According to the post it would reach Delta 0.
So far only iPhone Xs and S7 Edge have Delta below 1.
Both above 0.8 ...
I just read about this 3D LUT thing.
It says that you can increase contrast without increasing saturation of colors, something you see with 1D LUT...

what does ALPHA means here?

Does it suggest the name of device or something else?

Nice!
True 10 bit at 4k60p and it supports that directly from USB.
Might be the first phone to do so. I don't recall any other phone supporting HDMI 2.1.

Thanks!
So does this means Xperia will be able to be connected to TV without MHL connector?

Snapdragon 855 is able to do 4K60 HDR10.
So I believe with the dram , the flagship could do something else.
Cameras can do internal and, external recording.
External is better.
Maybe the weibo post is about it.
Not even A9 can do 4K60 10bit 4:2:2.
But of course the 4K30 of a cam is better than 4K60 of a phone.
A9 does 4K30 at 100Mbps, XZ ( highest xperia so far) does 56Mbps
They should do downsampling for videos, the ,difference is huge between native 1080 and 1080 from 4K.
Defocused background during recording too. Background can be distracting.

I understood that it works as a kind of monitor, connect the Xperia with a Sony Alpha using HDMI 2.1 -> USB
*at least in the Spanish translation
Update: the 4K60 4:2:2 it refers to the limit, it does not mean that it is possible to record in those specifications.
