We saw the results.
Useless with 4K HDR, the main purpose of Cinema Pro.

I remember my z2 vs galaxy S5, my friends were shocked to see how good the stabilization of my Z2 compared to S5. Wish Sony could do that again

Honestly, with how they set up 5G for the Xperia 1 II, I may just go for the PRO. Don't change my phone often anyway, would prefer it to last as long as possible. My current phone is entering its third year, and in need of an upgrade.

Pro has all anti-heat stuff.
Tougher body and mmWave.
If you are in USA, I think it is worth the extra money.

nice little video series, although it doesn't exactly give much information if you're already aware of how to use a manual camera.
i like that they are building up the hype though. look forward to seeing what prices actually are...
