Matanglawin,
nice photos! the 24/7 really has clean lines, great ergonomics. and that's a general safety lock on the right side, isn't it? that black hole at the serration for racking?

c'mon, you de-virginize the thing ASAP, ! btw, do you have your PTC right now? baka naman pwede ka na, join us this weekend, before we take a holiday?

@boysaint
Thanks for the appreciation. Btw, I also saw the picture that you posted in the other forum. It's also very nice...great arsenal you got there.

It was already late in the afternoon when I got my PTC yesterday. I would really want to join you at the range this weekend, but prior commitments just won't allow me to. (sigh)

Yes, that is indeed the General Safety Lock a.k.a. the Taurus Security System. Using the TSS key to engage this security feature really makes the 24/7 inoperable (the trigger cannot be pulled; the slide cannot be racked; the gun's manual safety cannot be disengaged). IMHO, it is great for long term storage...but impractical for daily use.

again, those are great shots! hopefully you can try it out very soon.

regarding the other forums... i love it here more. i just tried checking the others, see whats going on. this thread has LESSER sort of arrogant, feeling-know-it-all attitude people. folks here just try to help each other. hopefully it will stay that way.

incidentally- i think you'll love the review of the 24/7 here:
[...So how does it shoot? "Like a dream" is just too cliche. But it was damned comfortable to shoot...]

keep in touch.

Thanks again boysaint! Since I still can't find time to go to the range...I had to resort to another kind of shooting. I can't help but mention that I used the light of my K600i to cast shadows in those pictures...hehehe, this is the ESATO forums afterall.
