Hope,it finished the serbian duo on this thread. If everyone would speak in his or her language here,my god thank you.I think it's highest time to establish Slavic forum for all Slavic ppl. And you can speak there with Slovaks,Czechs,Poles,Russians with Serbian language. But not here.

What's happenened to this thread? No posts for a while here. Thought I'd revive it, it's an interesting thread imo.
Anyone in the new EU countries noticed any changes yet? I went to Malta on holiday a couple of weeks ago, and nothing there seemed to have changed much, apart from every car was now sporting the blue and yellow EU 'stars' flag with the 'M' country identifier on it's number plate - even the old ones!
Is anyone worried about their country losing their nationality by being swallowed up by the EU?

I think that the loss of identity and autonomy is one of the big worries of people in this country, and why the EU is been kept a bit at arms length here!

Boto - long time no speak!

Thought I'd have a go at resurrecting this thread, see how things are in other countries. Saw a short documentary on Slovenia and it looks like a very nice country. I often wonder about visiting some of these different countries, see different cultures to my own and see how others live thier lives. I enjoy going to places like the Greek islands, but fancy getting off the beaten track a bit.
With the car reg plates thing, many of the number plates in the UK still don't have the EU flag on it, I don't think it's compulsary here. Also, many people I think object to having the EU flag on their car's number plate!

Sammy, how was your vacation in Malta.I was in Croatia - near city Dubrovnik.Think it's worthy to visit Croatia.Nice country, clean sea, nice people. You can even make understood in English, but only with younger ppl.The same like in my country. If I compare to Italy (was there last year),think everything is better in Croatia except foods. But it's well known Italians have good foods. And numbers on cars, think only cars who were bought after may of 1 have eu nameplate.

If you visit Slovakia stop in my place.I live near Bratislava that's a capital of Slovakia.Slovakia and Slovenia are very similar names
