u obviously don't know computers very well then do you? i haven't had a single issue with SP2, and i've been running it since it first went beta.

It's true SP2 has had to be patched, you couldn't expect it to be perfect but it is a step in the right direction. no other firewall will protect your PC at boot time. The Windows Firewall was never meant to replace retail firewall solutions, just to provide basic protection and that is what it does.

Also, SP2 still has a chunk of it's major update missing. I am refering to what MS calls "behaviour blocking". This is still yet to be released for Windows XP and was expected to ship with SP2 but unfortunately never made it into the final build (probably due to the problems with the DEP software). This is expected in Jan/Feb of 2005 and should mean SP2 is then the complete package.

So next time you run into an MCSE, ask them which is better:

a) Windows XP SP1
b) Windows XP SP2
c) Linux ???

If they say anything other than b then they know s**t!

Signature invalid! File will be deleted (by) homeflash.jd

is telling me that a frame is deleted since I always had two warning lines of deleting files in every piece of log and I have lost exactly two frames: Angel and Mediterranean.

I'm not happy that I was right. I would rather have been reading you have all frames, and those lines don't means defective update.
And as CyberVisitor wrote, we don't know, what even went wrong, what we can't see...
Because I also had 2 warning lines, but I have all frames, though only one doesn't work (missing from recorded picture). But so far I didn't find any else problem...

Peacock: No, I don't. Any times I heard somebody did master reset, nothing has been fixed, but everything has been deleted.

Frame: Monkey. If I look at this for preview, the bottom of the frame is diffuse. If I take a shot, this is missing from the picture.

I would bet, who has corrupted fw by SE US, each of them have 2 warning lines in the log! Independent of how many frames are missing...
